Damariz Miranda-Soccer (2020-2022)
After Cochise: University of Arizona
Current Occupation: Currently at the University of Arizona, majoring in Nutritional Sciences( Emphasis Dietetics) and a minor in Sports Nutrition. Heavily involved in U OF A athletics and an intern with UA Football as a Sports Nutrition Volunteer.
Summarize your experience at Cochise: "Best two years of my college career. I made so many friendships throughout my years there that I will cherish forever. It was the best community to start college at."
Most memorable moment at Cochise: "Working with Sierra as an athletic training volunteer. I was able to be involved in learning about sports injuries while also playing soccer."

After Cochise: Mississippi State University Basketball, West Virginia University Basketball, Professional Basketball in Greece, Turkey, Australia, Taiwan, Israel, and the Czech Republic

Summarize your experience at Cochise: "The most wholesome experience anyone could ask for. So many activities were always available for students because, if you know Douglas, you know there isn’t too much to do. Kudos to the athletic department and coaching staff for recruiting student athletes who know how to really make life better, no matter the circumstances."
Most memorable moment at Cochise: "I'd say 18-19 our district finals game was my favorite memory! All Apache fans came out and cheered their team on to win the game the atmosphere and energy in the building was electric."
Briana (Lopez) Esquivel-Soccer (2011-2013)

Current Occupation: Kindergarten Teacher
Summarize your experience at Cochise: "My time at Cochise College was truly one of a kind. I met friends from all over the world and got to play the sport I love, soccer. Each season started with a trip to San Diego, where we bonded as a team and made memories that will last a lifetime. One of the most unforgettable moments was when our coach surprised us with a trip to watch the U.S. Women's National Team play. I was also introduced to the excitement of rodeo and got to cheer on our baseball team as they competed in the Junior College World Series. There is no place like Cochise College."
Most memorable moment at Cochise: "One of the most memorable parts of my time at Cochise College was the closeness of all the athletes who lived on campus. We were more than teammates. We were a family who supported each other on and off the field. That sense of community made every moment unforgettable."

Summarize your experience at Cochise: "It was two of the greatest years of my life, learning how to become a man holding responsibilities while having the utmost support from coaches and college athletics."
Most memorable moment at Cochise: "Completing one of the longest winning streaks at home by Cochise Baseball."
