One goal enough to edge the Lady Apaches over the CGCC Coyotes for 6th straight win

SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. -- The Cochise College Women's Soccer team came away with their 6th consecutive win last night as they defeated Chandler-Gilbert Community College 1-0 at Cyr Park. Megan Castricum managed to put one in during the 58th minute of play giving the Lady Apaches the only goal they needed in order to come away with the victory. Victoria Maxwell and Samantha Renteria both shared time at goalkeeper saving a combined 5 total shots on goal along with solid assistance from their defense. Castricum is in the top-25 nationally in Div. I with 4 game-winning goals (6th), 1-1 penalty kicks (12th), and 37 shots (23rd). 

The Cochise Lady Apaches (9-3;6-1) soccer team attempts to keep their winning streak going as they head on the road Saturday, October 8th to take on the Thunderbirds of Mesa Community College (2-9;2-5). Kickoff is set fot 6:00pm.
