Offensive explosion lead by Reynaud's hat-trick gives Cochise Women's Soccer team 2nd straight road win

PHOENIX, Ariz. -- The Cochise College Women's Soccer team swept their road matches last week after handily defeating South Mountain Community College (1-5, 0-3) Saturday, September 17th in Phoenix. The Lady Apache's offense managed to outshoot South Mountain 27-0 putting in 8 goals as they came away with an 8-0 win. Kayla Reynaud lead the way with a hat-trick scoring 3 goals all in the first half giving Cochise a 5-0 lead at halftime. Megan Castricum, Ivana Siles, Paula Gonzalez, Sabrina Ramos Camatta, and Dayana Gonzalez also contributed by putting in one goal each. Castricum, D. Gonzalez, and Liliana Chavez finished the match with 5 combined assists. The win gives the Lady Apaches their 2nd conference win of the season putting them over .500 in ACCAC play looking towards their next match at home hosting GateWay Community College.

 

Cochise Women's Soccer (5-3, 2-1) and the GateWay Geckos (0-6, 0-3) face off at Cyr Park in Sierra Vista, AZ tomorrow September 20th at 6:00pm, as the Lady Apaches try and grab their first home win of the regular season. Admission for spectators is free and are encouraged to bring their own lawn/folding chairs.
