Cochise College Rodeo team concludes Fall season with a weekend event at New Mexico State University

LAS CRUCES, NM --- The Cochise College Rodeo team was on the road last weekend to Las Cruces, New Mexico to finish off the Fall portion of their 2023-2024 schedule. The women's team finished the rodeo event with an overall 2nd place finish, while the men's team finished 3rd overall. With the conclusion of the Fall season, the Cochise Women's Rodeo team is currently in 2nd place overall in the Grand Canyon Region with a total of 1216 points, and the Cochise Men's Rodeo team is in 3rd place with 1207 points, both teams are trailing New Mexico State University who leads the region. The 2024 Spring Rodeo season will begin in March with visits to the University of Arizona, Central Arizona College, Payson, New Mexico State, as well as a Cochise-hosted Rodeo in Fort Huachuca.
