Cochise College to host Rodeo this weekend at Cochise County Fair

DOUGLAS, Ariz.-- It's time to Rodeo! This weekend the Cochise College Rodeo team will host numerous colleges from around the state at the annual Cochise County Fair on Saturday, September 24th and 25th. Cochise College is lead by first-year head coach Lynn Smith and assistant coach Diego Suarez, as they are coming off of their previous road trip last weekend to Tsaile, AZ. College Rodeo teams such as Dine College, Mesalands Community College, New Mexico State University, Central Arizona College, and the University of Arizona are expected to participate this weekend in both Men's and Women's events. Events include Team Roping, Barrel Racing, Goat Tying, Breakaway Roping, and more. The Cochise College Rodeo will be held at the Cochise County Fairgrounds (3677 N Leslie Canyon Rd, Douglas, AZ).
