Cochise College Rodeo team to make 2022-2023 Fall season debut Saturday

DOUGLAS, Ariz.- The 2022-2023 version of the Cochise College Rodeo team will begin their Fall season Saturday, September 17th as they head to Tsaile, Arizona competing at Dine College. Lynn Smith, first-year Rodeo head coach will take approximately 10 student-athletes to northern Arizona to compete in several events such as Barrel Racing, Goat Tying, Breakaway Roping, and Team Roping. The Cochise College Rodeo program is a member of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) in the "Grand Canyon" division which includes schools such as Dine College, Mesalands Community College (Tucumcari, NM), and New Mexico State University (Las Cruces, NM). Cochise College will host its first home Rodeo event during the 2022 Cochise County Fair on September 24th and 25th at the Cochise County Fairgrounds.
