Oscar Cluff Selected as All-American

Cluff selected NJCAA Second Team All-American

DOUGLAS, Ariz. -- Cochise College Men's Basketball Sophomore Oscar Cluff was selected as a Second Team NJCAA All-American after finishing with the top Field Goal Pct. in the nation (74.8). Cluff becomes the ninth consecutive Cochise Apache Men's Basketball player to earn this honor dating back to the 2014-15 season. 

Cluff finished the season averaging 18.2 points per game and 9.8 rebounds per game. Cluff finished in the top five in the ACCAC in FG Pct., Rebounds, Blocks, and Points per game. 

In the Fall, Cluff will be heading to Pullman, Washington to attend Washington State University and will play for head coach Kyle Smith and the Cougars in the Pac-12 conference. Cluff was also named First Team All-Conference and All-Region as well as Region 1 Player of the Year. 

Coach Carillo states, "We are very proud and excited for Oscar being named 2nd team NJCAA DI All-American. He had a great 2-year career here at Cochise College as he led the nation in FG percentage this year and led us to 2 ACCAC titles and 58 wins in his career. We look forward to seeing him contribute to success at Washington State University next season."
