Men's Basketball win streak ends with a 92-90 upset

The NJCAA #24 ranked Cochise College Apaches were stunned Wednesday night on their home floor at the hands of the Scottsdale CC Artichokes 92-90.

Cochise fell behind 48-40 at halftime and made one run early but could not keep Scottsdale from outscoring them on the night. Scottsdale used a very potent perimeter attack to keep the Apaches at bay all night long. Cochise moves to 19-2 overall and 10-1 in ACCAC play. Cochise again sits atop the ACCAC standings.

"Scottsdale completely outplayed us and certainly out-coached us tonight in all aspects of the game," Cochise Head Coach Jerry Carrillo said. "As the head coach, I certainly take the blame for that loss, and I was extremely proud of our ability to fight and not give up."
