Mathias LaCombe, Eddie Villareal, Alex Figueroa, and Samir Rojas each entered the game in relief. Offensively, the Apaches put up eight hits with Lindahl and Gerardo Hernandez each collecting multiple hits.

In game 2 of the doubleheader, Cochise Baseball returned to the win column, defeating Glendale 7-2, giving the Apaches their first conference win. The Apaches were off to a quick start in the first when Mathis Meurant tripled on the first pitch scoring one run. Glendale answered back in the second, however, Cochise came back with one of their own in the bottom half. Cochise pulled away for good in the third inning scoring four runs off of hits from Meurant, Pablo Garcia, and Carlos Vega. Evan Shaw started on the mound for game 2 lasting seven innings, allowing two runs on four hits, striking out 13, and walking one.
