The Cochise College baseball team finished the regular season with a 41-15 overall record and a 27-11 ACCAC (Arizona Community College Athletic Conference) Conference record. The Apaches protected the home field and finished with a regular-season record of 22-1 at home and a very solid regular season. Cochise snagged the #2 seed for Division 1 conference play and will be hosting Arizona Western on Thursday, May 5.

Cochise baseball not only had a great regular season as a team, but Cochise also had several players recognized for their individual achievements as well. The Apaches had four players honored for conference awards. Cochise is the only Division 1 team in the ACCAC to make the playoffs every year in the last ten years.

Ozuna became the second Cochise pitcher in three full years to win the award. On top of his individual ACCAC accomplishments, he is also currently leading the country in saves with 13, which is also tied for the most saves in Cochise College program history.

Sophomore RHP Treyjen Meza won First Team All ACCAC and First Team All Region honors. Meza had a great regular season for the Apaches throughout both the regular season and conference play. He broke the record for strikeouts in Cochise College program history, currently with 114 on the year and is also tied for the most wins with 13.

Sophomore Catcher Connor Caskenette won First Team All ACCAC and First Team All Region honors. Caskenette was also recognized for All ACCAC and All Region honors last year as a freshman. Cochise has now had a catcher recognized for All ACCAC and All Region honors for the last four years.
