Bio
Coach Rangel joined Cochise College Women's Soccer as an assistant coach in 2022, after seven years of teaching and coaching at Kofa High School in Yuma, AZ. As a head coach at KHS, Rangel led the Kings to three playoff appearances during his tenure. Kofa then would push out 20 collegiate athletes during this time.
Coach Rangel also Coached Spartans FC in Yuma, AZ. The Spartans would develop 18 collegiate athletes in six years. Rangel was also a volunteer women’s soccer coach at Arizona Western College for one season in 2020 in which the Matadors advanced to the the NJCAA Region 1 Final.
Rangel was born and raised in Yuma, Arizona. A Kofa High School Alumni, class of 2012, played soccer and tennis for the Kings. In 2011, the Kings made the semifinals in the AIA state playoffs. After high school, Rangel attended Arizona Western College and then transferred to Northern Arizona University where he received his Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Justice Studies.
Coach Rangel was named the next head coach of Cochise Women's Soccer on May 28th, 2024.
