The Apaches controlled possession from the outset and broke through in the 11th minute when Diana Taddei converted off a feed from Andrea Vazquez to make it 1–0. Cochise continued to press in the second half, adding an insurance goal in the 76th minute when Chayton Barron finished a pass from Milan Hunt to seal the win.
