Cochise Women's Soccer to host Region 1 Semifinal Wednesday

DOUGLAS, Ariz. --- The Cochise Women's Soccer team clinched the #2 seed for the Region 1 playoffs Saturday with a 17-0 win at Community Christian College. The Apaches are set to host #3 Eastern Arizona College on Wednesday, October 30th at 3:00 pm for the right to advance to the NJCAA Region 1 Championship match on Saturday, November 2nd. 

Cochise finished the regular season ranked 20th in the NJCAA DI poll with an 11-3-3 overall record and an 8-2-2 conference record. 

In the other Region 1 semifinal match, #1 seed Arizona Western College will host #4 seed Yavapai College, as the winner will face the winner of the Cochise vs. Eastern Arizona match. 

The Apaches will host the Gila Monsters at the Cochise College Douglas Campus soccer field and is opened to the public.
