Cochise blasts Community Christian College 135-67

DOUGLAS, Ariz — The Cochise College Apaches returned home to the Stronghold Gymnasium last night and used a great defensive effort to jump on the visiting CCC Saints early to take a 135-67 home victory

Cochise jumped to a 71-32 halftime lead and coasted to another home win.

Cochise was led by freshman forward Naeem Colston, who tallied a double-double with 27 points and 14 rebounds. Jackson Tumbridge and Ben Henderson each chipped in 23 points in the win.

Cochise moves to 19-8 overall and 11-4 in NJCAA Region I play.
