Cochise goes 1-2 in the Inaugural Matador Christmas Classic

YUMA, Ariz. — The Cochise College Men's Basketball team opened up the Matador Christmas Classic with another NJCAA Top 20 opponent in College of Southern Idaho ranked #15 in the nation. Cochise led 40-32 at half but fell 83-79 to the Golden Eagles

Cochise was able to squeak out a 69-68 win over GCU Club using an 8-footer by Sophomore Ben Henderson with two seconds left to get the win.

On the final day, the Apaches were beaten 75-67 by Laramie County CC out of Region 9.

The Apaches are now 9-5 overall and 2-1 in ACCAC play
