Diana Taddei Emerging as One of the Nation’s Top Goal Scorers
DOUGLAS, Ariz. — In her sophomore season with Cochise College women's soccer, forward Diana Taddei has turned heads with her goal-scoring consistency and clutch performances.
Taddei has already netted two hat tricks this season, helping lead the Apaches in critical wins and reinforcing her status as a reliable attacking force. In the 8–3 romp over College of Southern Nevada, she tallied three second-half goals to take control of the match. In earlier contests, she delivered timely goals that gave Cochise momentum in tightly contested games.
Her scoring pace has earned her national recognition—she is currently ranked 20th in the country in goals scored.
Taddei hails from Cananea, Mexico, and previously played in Tijuana, bringing experience and flair to the Apache attack.
What sets her apart this season is not just the quantity of goals, but the timing and impact. She scores when it counts—breaking open tight matches, serving as a spark in the first half, or putting games away late.
Cochise will lean on her production as the Apaches move deeper into conference play, where every goal matters. With two hat tricks, a national ranking in scoring, and a growing reputation, Taddei is proving herself a player to watch.
Catch Taddei and the Apaches tomorrow, as they host No. 14 Eastern Arizona College on the Douglas campus at 3:00 PM.
